Introduction – All Credits go to ChatGPT

Zab Bite on Fraser Street in Vancouver dives deep into the bold, tangy flavours of Thailand’s E-Sarn (Isan) region — from punchy salads and grilled meats to the lively herbs and spices that define this cuisine.

@eatswithwendy Tried Zab Bite in Vancouver — and honestly, we’re still wondering how this place made it into the Michelin Guide. The food felt below average compared to a regular Thai spot like Rens Club Café, and the service? Rough. They somehow forgot our water twice, even though we were sitting right in front of them. The crispy pork toast was the only decent dish, but that’s mostly thanks to the sauce. 📍 Zab Bite – Thai E-Sarn Cuisine 4197 Fraser St, Vancouver, BC V5V 4E9 #yvreats #yvrfoodies #yvrfoodieeats #yvrfood #yvrfoodblogger ♬ original sound – eatswithwendy

  • We are not sure how this place get their Michelin guide when all important factors are missing. Flavors-Nope
  • Service-Nope, they forgot our water twice and got us ice water while we asked for no ice. Our table is directly in front of their cashier and somehow services are super terrible.
Full Reviews

Khao Soi

  • Super salty and thick.
  • Somehow are praised by so many. We get it’s comfort food but come on, this is borderline salt overdose.

Crispy Pork Toast

  • The only dish that was good but that was because there were no flavors on the toast until you dip that into the pre-made cucumber relish.

Jaew Chicken

  • Grilled Chicken which somehow looks almost the same as boiled… Again, the pre-made sauce saved the dish.

Pad Thai with Shrimp

  • Soggy, overcooked.
  • How lazy do you have to be to somehow make a stir-fry dish have fish sauce-condensed spot which make 1 bite flavorless while the other is super salty.

Mai Tai

  • Impossible to get wrong and they luckily delivered.
