@eatswithwendy ✨ Jeju in Vancouver — hits, misses, and a couple must-orders ✨ Jeju brings a polished take on Korean dining, and here’s how our night went 👇 🥃 Jeju Old Fashioned Good, but using premium liquor kinda defeats the “classic old fashioned” vibe. 🍜 Japchae Balanced meat + veggies, but flavor-wise pretty standard. 🥩 The Galbi Their signature — and it shows. Super tender, beautifully presented, and paired with the perfect banchan. 🐙 Octopus Top 2 if not #1 of the night. The dill and acidity together? So good. Jeju doesn’t reinvent every dish, but when they do it right… they really do it right. Would go back just for the Galbi and the Octopus 🔥#foodievancouver #foodieyvr #yvrblogger #yelpyvr ♬ original sound – eatswithwendy

Full Reviews

Jeju Old Fashioned

  • Classic Old Fashioned but with a more premium liquor which defeats the purpose of an old fashioned to be honest.

Octopus

  • Probably top 2 if not the best dish.
  • The dill and the acidity works perfectly well together.

Japchae

  • A perfectly balanced amount of meat and vegetables but flavor wise nothing special.

The Galbi

  • Did not disappoint being the signature of the restaurant.
  • Super tender with a great presentation.
  • The banchan wasn’t expansive but more of the best fit for the dish.
